Water Memory

I linked the two seemingly unrelated things to this creation. Childhood memory is the biggest motivation. My grandparents’ memory is declining, my childhood house is being demolished. The occurrence of a series of things makes me think about what is eternal to save memories and time. I will say that it is water, light, and air. No matter how the universe changes, they are eternal and witness the changes in the world. I think that water and memory have a common character, and they conform to the principle of dialectical relationship between movement and static.

I experimented by collecting family conversations and the voices of the city, so that the sound waves of the memories vibrate the water to form beautiful patterns by speaker, then combine my photos of my grandfather’s life.
